Our approach

Ricepurity Tester is built so that the most private thing on this site, your answers is technically impossible for us to see. The tests run entirely inside your browser: your checks, your score, and your progress are calculated and stored on your own device, and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We don't want your data, so we designed a site that doesn't take it.

What we do not collect

• Your test answers or scores — these never leave your device
• Names, email addresses, or any account information (there are no accounts)
• Advertising or analytics trackers — we run none
• Tracking cookies — the site sets none
• Your precise location

What stays on your own device

To stop a page refresh from erasing your progress mid-test, your checked answers are saved in your browser's local storage, a small storage area that lives on your device and is readable only by your browser. This data never reaches our servers. You can erase it at any time by using the Retake button on any test, or by clearing your browser's site data for this website.

If you contact us

The only time you share anything with us is when you choose to — through the contact form or by emailing info@ricepuritytester.net. In that case we receive what you send: your name, email address, and message. We use it solely to reply to you, we don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't share it with anyone. If our contact form is configured to deliver through a form-processing service, your submission passes through that service to reach our inbox, subject to its own privacy policy.

Technical basics we can't avoid

Like every website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider, and hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) for security and operational purposes. These logs are generic to how the web works, are not used by us to identify or profile visitors, and are governed by the hosting provider's retention practices. Additionally, our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when loading the site — a standard technical request that we do not receive any data from.

Children's privacy

Parts of this site (our teen editions) are designed to be appropriate for younger visitors, which is exactly why the site collects no personal information from anyone adult or minor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information through our contact form, email us at info@ricepuritytester.net and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy for example, by adding analytics or advertising, we will update this page before those changes go live, and the "last updated" date below will reflect it. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
